Our client is expanding their North Island operations and is on the lookout for a seasoned Design Estimator ready to step into a role where engineering insight meets real-world impact.What You'll Be DoingYou'll be a trusted part of the programme team, helping to shape the electrical landscape by:

Crafting smart, purpose-built designs for overhead and underground networks
Selecting electrical and mechanical components that match design intent and installation needs
Scoping out project pricing that balances accuracy with value
Partnering with Project Managers to drive efficient delivery
Making site visits and working with contractors to keep plans aligned and expectations exceeded
Enhancing customer satisfaction through timely, thoughtful design solutions
Supporting safety standards and meeting regulatory requirements

Who You AreWe're looking for someone who brings:

At least 3 years of experience in design estimation or a related field
Ideally, a Diploma in Electrical Engineering
A structured approach with solid analytical chops
The ability to break down complex plans and specifications
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Catan, and other design platforms
Comfort with crunching numbers and solving problems
A genuine interest in how power networks operate behind the scenes
