In every aspect of our work we are committed to helping whānau be the best they can be.Our Pounamu Hub is located close to Rotorua CBD, and we are looking for 2 Casual Support Workers to come on board and support our tāngata whaiora. This service provides 24-hour care and support for adult whaiora in medium to longer term rehabilitation residences, and short-term crisis admissions.He kōrero mō te tūranga | The Role:Joining a team of 12, you will work alongside Mental Health Professionals and Support Workers to help them to reconnect and live as independently as possible. We have a positive and supportive team culture and offer opportunities for ongoing learning and development.Our residential services are committed to realising the potential of tangata whaiora, provide mana enhancing services that promote health and wellbeing for individuals, family/whanau and communities.He kōrero mōu | About YouWe are looking for resilient people, who are solution-focused, naturally energetic, and have a genuine interest in supporting people to achieve goals and learn new skills.To be successful in this role, ideally you will bring along the following:

A Level 4 (or higher) qualification in Health and Wellbeing, Mental Health, and Addiction.
Experience working in the mental health sector
Knowledge of community resources
A strong understanding of Māori and Pacifica cultures
A full New Zealand Driver's License
Eligibility to work in New Zealand
