Join our team as a Senior Addictions Practitioner at AOD service in Wairarapa. The AOd service works with tangata whai ora or taiohi that present moderate to complex needs. We are seeking a skilled clinician to join our team. You will be comfortable with assessment writing, facilitating group work, and maintaining clear and accurate clinical notes.
- Some of your responsibilities may include:
- Contribute to a safe, healthy work environment and support the day-to-day operations of the service in collaboration with leadership.
- Build and maintain strong networks with community, mental health, and addiction support services to ensure integrated care.
- Provide after-hours or on-call clinical support as required, including contributing to service review meetings and supporting staff with clinical expertise.
You will be:
- Hold a current annual practicing certificate.
- Has a full registration with DAPAANZ.
- Meets the requirements of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act (2003).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail, particularly with regard to written documents.
- Excellent time management, organisation and file maintenance.
