You'll collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and product owners, delivering solutions through CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools. This is a hands-on, senior position with scope to influence best practices in database reliability.Day to Day Responsibilities

Manage, maintain, and optimise AWS PostgreSQL databases for high availability and security
Design and implement database solutions using AWS CDK and CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product owners to deliver initiatives
Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective measures
Ensure data integrity through effective backup and recovery strategies

Skills & Experience RequiredWe're looking for a senior professional with proven PostgreSQL expertise and strong AWS knowledge. You will bring:

Experience as a Database Administrator focused on PostgreSQL in production environments
Strong understanding of AWS services, such as RDS and Aurora
Hands-on experience with IaC tools (CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform)
Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash)
Familiarity with Agile, ideally with SAFe experience or certification
