We're looking for casual Chef to join our awesome kitchen teams in our modern Village and Care Home kitchens located at our Palmerston North Village. You will be responsible for whipping up delicious quality home cooking and designing tasty menus for our residents in a restaurant environment. Alongside our kitchen manager you will help lead our team ensuring the coordination of the kitchen is effortless.Some of the great things you will be doingYou can pick up shifts in either of these roles based on your experience and qualifications but also your enthusiasm and attitude. - Providing a safe environment to the residents
- People facing with great communication skills
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained
- Ensuring all heath guidelines are followed
- Treating residents with dignity and respect
We are looking for team members with the right attitude, excellent communication skills and who can work as part of a team to provide support in maintaining our village to a high standard. Some things that will support your application include:
- Good level of fitness to support in a busy kitchen or café
- Previous experience is highly beneficial
- Relevant certifications, as appropriate i.e., Hygiene & Food Handling, First Aid
- Have impeccable personal presentation
- Bright, breezy "can do" attitude and a team focus
