Perform appropriately requested examinations, producing quality images in accordance with good professional practice and the relevant protocols.
Ensure that all statistical information is entered into the Radiology information system in an accurate and timely manner.
Assist with supervision, support and education to other sonographers including students within the service.

A recognised/accredited academic qualification
NZ Registered Medical Radiation Technologist in Ultrasound
Current Annual Practising Certificate
Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a multidisciplinary team.
Recent ultrasound experience within a radiology service
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
