If that sounds like a story you'd like to be a part of, join our vibrant NZ Post team.The Service Delivery Coordinator, whilst having no direct reports, will play a key role supporting the Manager to coordinate the resources on site. Based at our Super Depot in Grenada Village, you'll be the day-to-day linkage between the Couriers, Delivery Agents, Contract Posties, RD Contractors and Box Lobby staff, ensuring that the resourcing for the day is where it needs to be. You will need to be the type of person who takes a hands-on approach, demonstrating a commitment to safety and fostering a high performing, positive team culture.What you'll be doing:
  • Daily interaction with delivery partners, additional/ relief drivers, customer service, operational and processing staff
  • Monitor and improve compliance within the contracted courier fleet
  • Assist with customer queries
  • Be involved with the team in decision making, outlining challenges and finding solutions
  • Undertake key administration tasks

  • Working a roster of Tuesday to Friday 6am - 3.30pm and Saturday 6am - 10.30am
To be successful, you'll need:
  • Intermediate level computer skills
  • Confidence interacting with people from all backgrounds; via face to face, phone and email
  • Experience in fleet management or logistics is highly sort after but not essential
  • Proven ability to work under-pressure, making solid decisions - sometimes without direction or resources
  • Ability to focus on all aspects of the task or project, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy - an eye for details!
  • To be a strong problem solver, to back yourself and not be afraid to have tough conversations
  • A desire to rise to a challenge, welcome and embrace change and work with ambiguity
  • Full drivers licence (you'll be required to drive work vehicles at times)
