As a Senior or Principal Bridge Design Engineer, you'll be instrumental in:
- Crafting compelling expressions of interest and project proposals that secure new business
- Collaborating with clients to develop comprehensive design briefs, including preliminary programming and budgeting
- Leading fee estimation and client negotiations to ensure project profitability
- Executing sophisticated design, investigation and documentation aligned with project requirements
- Delivering clear, concise project reporting and progress updates
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Chartered Professional Engineer status (or working towards this qualification)
- Proven track record in bridge design excellence
- Comprehensive knowledge of NZ standards, design codes, legislation and practices
- Strong independent work capability with exceptional project management skills
- Expertise in earthquake engineering design and implementation
- Experience with Alliance/Design & Construct projects (preferred)
