The Talley's Group has a long history and has been at the forefront of developments across the fishing, agribusiness and food processing industries in New Zealand. Today the wider group operations have diversified further to also include AFFCO Holdings, Open Country Dairy, Natures Flame and Halls Refrigerated Transport.Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager and working closely with the CFO's for each division, these two roles offer the opportunity to join a new team and help establish a risk based audit and assurance programme, that ensures the risk & assurance functions add value to the organisation. Working across all divisions of this diversified group these roles will influence change at a process/control level and will contribute to how the organisation continues to respond to emerging areas like climate change and sustainability.We view both these roles as a unique opportunity for candidates who have strong technical audit backgrounds, but are seeking a role where they can be more involved operationally and develop as a trusted advisor, while continuing to integrate risk management, audit and assurance within operational best practice.The technical competence needs to be balanced against personal attributes, which should include a strong focus on quality, a positive and collaborative approach, with a can do mind-set that will enable you to effectively influence and manage an enterprise wide approach to risk, audit & assurance.We are keen to talk to a range of candidates who can offer audit experience at an Audit Senior and Assistant Manager level, but are now looking for that next step opportunity in a corporate environment.For a confidential enquiry, contact Patrick MethvenTel:
