The broad focus on patient care, research and education offers an excellent career opportunity.to view the position description.(Please note position descriptions can only be viewed on the Te Whatu Ora - Waikato website.)Mōu | About youThe candidate must have qualifications that would satisfy the requirements for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand and must have a driver license.Mō tātou Ratonga | About our ServiceOne of six regional cancer centres in New Zealand, our department comprises an inpatient ward including an autologous bone marrow transplant suite, day care and chemotherapy suite, outpatient department and radiation treatment facility. At Waikato Hospital there are currently eight medical oncologists, nine haematologists, ten radiation oncologists and five palliative care physicians. Through our research unit we are involved with the full spectrum of clinical trials, including phase I trials of novel agents.
