- A minimum of ten years' practical experience working in data and analytics or data science teams, including experience in technical leadership and/or people leadership roles
- A relevant tertiary or professional qualification in a related field (e.g. data science, statistics, computer science, engineering, analytics, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated success in leading multiple concurrent projects in complex, multidisciplinary environments, particularly where data, analytics, and technology intersect
- Experience in building and maintaining a high performing, engaged, and positive team culture, including recruiting, retaining, and developing technical talent
- Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities, with a track record of developing others through feedback, support, and growth-focused development conversations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and collaborate across diverse internal and external stakeholder groups.
