Inspired by Dr Rudolf Steiner's principles of anthroposophy, we seek to understand each person and situation as unique, not a one size fits all philosophy.About the RoleLamb and Marker house is based at Hōhepa in Somerfield, in this role you will be supporting people with high medical needs and people that are diagnosed with Dementia and an Intellectual Disability.You will be energetic, empathetic and able to work alongside this person focusing on creating a life of rich and diverse experiences while being able to read situations, problem solve and apply boundaries or offer space. Daily tasks include supporting with daily routines while encouraging independence to develop skills and personal growth. You will have the confidence to support personal cares, cooking, medication administration, and household tasks.You will be passionate about supporting and extending people's ability to access and be part of their wider community. If you are looking for a new challenge this could be the opportunity for you. This is a double staffed hours with 7 residents, experience in the disability sector or relevant qualifications are preferred but not essential, training will be provided for the right candidate if successful.This position's salary scale is set by pay equity and dependent on qualification level, pays between $22.70 and $28.25 per hour.Rostered hours:Position 1

Week 1: Sunday to Wednesday 3pm to 9pm
Week 2: Sunday to Tuesday 3pm to 9pm

Total Hours per Fortnight: 42Position 2

Week 1: Sunday to Monday 3pm to 11pm
Week 2: Sunday to Monday 3pm to 11pm
