Driving exceptional customer experiences across all areas of the business has powered the ongoing success of the group.This role leads Bayswater Vehicle Group, Hastings-based Nissan, BYD and Volkswagen commercial dealership.The role and duties
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:Work collaboratively with the CEO and Board to achieve agreed objectives and grow the business.Provide leadership to the dealership in aspects of its operational performance while striving to maintain upper-quartile performance benchmarks.Foster and maintain a good corporate culture which achieves excellence through teamwork, accountability, safety and high-quality output.Maintain quality, service and productivity standards to the agreed industry benchmarks and above.Ensure that Manufacturer targets are achieved, including sales volumes, satisfaction indexes and other KPIs relating to "at risk" incentives.Foster a corporate culture of performance, accountability and innovation.Actively direct the formulation and implementation of marketing strategies.Contribute to all strategic and business planning processes with the CEO and other Managers, which meet the Board's stated objectives.Ensure all objectives, strategies and actions of the plan are implemented, reported on and achieved.Take prominent roles in business development initiatives to expand sales within the PMA, such as product promotion, tender preparation, permission marketing, advertising and public relations strategies.Be accountable for ensuring the dealership achieves a return on its investments and commercial activities consistent with targets.The skills and experience requiredAn Automotive franchise background is a prerequisite. Sales Management, Dealer Principal, Branch Manager or similar front-line retail automotive experienceStrong commercial acumenAbility to lead, develop, motivate and train all direct reports and ensure they do the same for the staff they manageThe skills to be able to grow sales and after-sales volumesHigh standards of professionalismA previous track record of achieving profit and volume targetsAbility to manage a team of approximately 20 staffA commitment to the achievement of excellenceRemuneration and benefitsThe attractive base salary is complemented by performance-based incentives based on your success and achievement of pre-determined KPI'sThe Bayswater Vehicle Group represents 18 brands and has 10 dealerships.
