Healthcare Support Worker

Location: Radius Matua, 124 Levers Road, Matua, Tauranga 3110Hours of work: Casual role, as and when requiredPay Rate: $23.15 - $28.25 per hour - subject to completed caregiving qualifications.About the Role:Provide exceptional care to our residents under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families. Work closely with a team to implement our individual care plans. Full training provided.Duties include:

Undertaking personal cares, while encouraging residents to make decisions that promote independence
Promptly completing delegated tasks in a timely manner
Responding quickly to resident requests, providing them with useful, relevant information
Maintaining and updating resident healthcare records
Assisting with handover of residents at shift changes

Skills and Experience:

1+ years of previous aged care experience preferred, or New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 3 - 4 (or equivalent)
People skills + empathy for our residents and their families
Good written and verbal communication skills
Flexibility to work rostered shifts
