This is a unique opportunity with one of Waikato's specialist Engineering companies. They are seeking an Fitter Turner Machinist to support their existing team. The ideal candidate will have proven skill in the manufacturing and assembly area.The Role:As a Fitter Turner, you'll be responsible for the successful manufacturing and assembly of components for machines and any other equipment manufactured by our client.Key Responsibilities:

Manufacturing and assembling components to specification and on time
Operating machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
Maintaining quality standards in all work
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
CNC programming and operating
Accuracy with measurements and calibrations

Key Values We're Looking For:

Precision-focused with Turning, Facing, Parting, Grooving, Boring and Knurling skillset.
A quick thinker, observant and patient
Trade-qualified Fitter/Turner/Machinist, with experience with stainless steel and alloys
Mechanical Engineer - Level 4 (preferred)
Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics, some electrical knowledge (preferred)
