Iplex Pipelines NZ - we are a team of over 200 people strong and we're highly passionate about delivering plastic pipeline systems in New Zealand as we work to become NZ's leader of plastic building materials. We have team members working in manufacturing, distribution and support roles in Palmerston North, Christchurch and Ashburton, with our commercial head office based in Auckland.This is an exciting time to join our People and Performance (P&P) team based in Palmerston North as we continue on our journey of growth and have you kick-start your career as our People and Performance Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity where you'll be fully immersed in all facets of the employee lifecycle, giving you great exposure to interesting areas of HR. In this role, you'll provide critical administration and coordination support to the P&P function. It'll be full of variety where you'll be focusing on recruitment and selection, onboarding, employee development, well-being, reward and recognition, HRIS systems support, offboarding, continuous improvement, and so much more. This is your chance to build critical foundation skills and experience that will set you up for your future career.ABOUT YOUTo be successful in this role, you'll need to bring the following:
  • At least 2 years working in a HR support role, with a basic understanding of New Zealand HR legislation.
  • Be an effective communicator with strong customer focus.
  • Be an advocate of best people and HR practices.
  • Be well-organised, capable of working under pressure, committed to your own learning and ready to take on all the opportunities we'll have for you!
  • Be tech savvy with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Workday (HRIS) desirable.
  • A committed team player passionate about contributing to team goals and getting results.
  • Be a trusted team member and maintain the highest degree of confidentiality.
