Job Description:As a General Labourer, you will be involved in exciting projects, picking up civil work, operating of machinery, and preparing worksites. You will mainly support roading and drainage projects like building footpaths, kerb and channels, landscaping, asphalting, drainage works and chip sealing. This is an entry-level opportunity for people interested in civil infrastructure and roading.You will be involved in the general operation of machinery as well as day-to-day manual labouring duties. This could include:

Helping with safe site setup for your crew and the general public
Ensuring efficient use of materials, supplies and equipment
Working as part of a cohesive team to deliver to client requirements

You would need to work towards AEWV but we are happy to interview candidates on a working holiday visa.Qualifications:You will be a physically fit and motivated person and will bring with you:

Class 1 Full New Zealand Drivers License (essential), WTR endorsements would be advantageous
Ability to work within a team and alone when required
Flexibility to work away from home and work shift work as required
Have a positive 'can do' attitude
