Te whiwhinga mahi: The opportunityWe are seeking a Clinical Services Manager for our Tairāwhiti locality. Reporting to the District Manager, based in Gisborne, this key role will effectively and efficiently lead the clinical and non-clinical members of a multidisciplinary extended care team (Clinical Nurse Specialists – Respiratory and Diabetes, Social Worker, Clinical Pharmacist, Child Health Nurse, Nurse Coordinator Cardiac Rehab and Kaiawhina) to operationalise Pinnacle’s strategic objectives for the locality.If you are looking for a part time role, this could just be for you. This is a permanent role working 32 hours per week.He kōrero mōu: About you
  • You will need to be a registered health professional with previous experience leading a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
  • You will have prior experience in managing service delivery to meet the specific primary health needs of Māori and a strong understanding of the health needs facing our community.
  • You will have an understanding of the primary care strategy.
  • Knowledge and experience in continuous quality improvement tools and practices, and project management are essential.
  • You will have excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills along with strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Your knowledge of the local community and networks and your ability to build relationships and rapport will set you apart.
  • Your leadership style will be inclusive of all cultures, beliefs, protocols and practices and you will be comfortable in the application of Tikanga Māori.
