Te whiwhinga mahi: The opportunityWe are seeking a Clinical Services Manager for our Tairāwhiti locality. Reporting to the District Manager, based in Gisborne, this key role will effectively and efficiently lead the clinical and non-clinical members of a multidisciplinary extended care team (Clinical Nurse Specialists – Respiratory and Diabetes, Social Worker, Clinical Pharmacist, Child Health Nurse, Nurse Coordinator Cardiac Rehab and Kaiawhina) to operationalise Pinnacle’s strategic objectives for the locality.If you are looking for a part time role, this could just be for you. This is a permanent role working 32 hours per week.He kōrero mōu: About you

You will need to be a registered health professional with previous experience leading a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
You will have prior experience in managing service delivery to meet the specific primary health needs of Māori and a strong understanding of the health needs facing our community.
You will have an understanding of the primary care strategy.
Knowledge and experience in continuous quality improvement tools and practices, and project management are essential.
You will have excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills along with strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Your knowledge of the local community and networks and your ability to build relationships and rapport will set you apart.
Your leadership style will be inclusive of all cultures, beliefs, protocols and practices and you will be comfortable in the application of Tikanga Māori.
