With a strong focus on cultural responsiveness and protecting digital, it offers a collaborative environment where cybersecurity plays a vital role in enabling secure and inclusive learning experiences.About the RoleThis hands-on role is embedded in operational activity, with a 50/50 split between BAU and monitoring. You'll be the organisation's primary cybersecurity contact, managing and optimising an existing Microsoft-based platform.Day to Day Responsibilities

Monitor and manage Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Intune, and Purview
Lead incident response and coordinate investigations
Conduct vulnerability assessments and ensure framework compliance
Support secure system changes and BAU operations
Provide cyber guidance and promote user awareness

About Your Experience

7+ years in cybersecurity (or 5+ with strong network engineering background)
Expertise in Microsoft security tools (Sentinel, Defender, Intune, Purview)
Strong incident response and monitoring capabilities
Familiarity with NIST CSF or NZISM frameworks
Relevant certifications (e.g. AZ-500, CISSP) desirable
