About the roleYou will flourish having variety in your work day as a Grounds Person working across our Merivale Village and The Village Palms. Thriving in beautiful scenery everyday you will enjoy ensuring the general upkeep of the grounds, vehicles and equipment are maintained. You will be working 30 hours per week Monday to Friday and be responsible to work across both of our sites.Duties Include:
  • Maintain gardens and grounds to company standards.
  • Ensure equipment is well-maintained and used safely.
  • Provide general handyman services.
  • Operate and clean site vehicles responsibly and safely.
  • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Providing general assistance to the maintenance team
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Previous experience working as a general handyman or in property maintenance will be highly advantageous as well as any horticulture and/or gardening.
  • Reliable, super organised and have good Time Management
  • This is a physical role and requires a good level of fitness (some heavy lifting involved)
  • Confidence using hand, power tools and operating maintenance machinery.
  • Customer centric approach - with strong communication skills written and verbal.
  • Full Driver License
