Join our maternity team to make areal difference to the experience of new parents, their babies and their families and whānau.Mō te tūranga | About the roleIf you're passionate about promoting excellence in clinical practice and ensuring provision of high-quality midwifery care, this role is for you. You will assist and work collaboratively with the Clinical Midwife Manager in the establishment and promotion of clinical midwifery professional standards in the postnatal ward. You will have supervisory responsibilities for Registered Nurses and Midwives, Enrolled Nurses, Maternity/Health Care Assistants, Students.Mōu ake | About youTo be successful in this role you will have the following:
  • Strong clinical leadership skills
  • Proven clinical credibility in all aspects of midwifery care
  • A collaborative team approach with excellent group facilitation skills
  • A post graduate qualification or are willing to work towards
  • A current APC and be a Registered Midwife
