About the role/opportunity:We are looking for a Fulltime Catering Assistant to work at our production kitchen in Palmerston North.The duties / responsibilities:In this position;
  • Assist with preparing and presenting food
  • Prepare food for service
  • Portion and plate food for service
  • Assist with vegetable and salad preparation
  • Adhere to site food safety plan Maintain clean & tidy dining/kitchen areas
  • Skills & experience / About you
  • Sweep and Mop floors , Clean, Ensuring hygiene and washing dishes
  • Clean, sanitise and store equipment
  • Handle waste and linen
  • Clean and Maintain public areas
  • Receive and rotate stock

  • You will be hard working, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.
  • Ideally you will already have some experience working in a commercial kitchen
  • You will have superior customer service skills
