Are you an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist seeking a unique opportunity to provide exceptional care in the beautiful Wairarapa region of New Zealand? We are seeking a dedicated professional with skills in colposcopy and obstetric ultrasound to join a department of obstetrics and gynaecology offering a permanent, full-time role with a competitive salary range of NZD190,000.00 - NZD270,000.00 plus allowances and relocation package for international candidates.Your duties will include management of out patients and in patients, surgical operating lists and labour ward cover in addition to administrative and teaching commitments.The region is vibrant and culturally diverse with plenty of recreational activities, world class walking and cycling tracks, relatively affordable housing, and beautifully restored historic towns. The region offers New Zealand's premiere shopping and food destinations thanks to its designer boutiques, specialist shops, cafes and restaurants along with award winning vineyards. It also offers
quality schools, strong community spirit, great beaches, rivers and mountain ranges, and best of all you won't waste anymore time sitting in traffic jams. It is very close to other major cities , and little more than an hour from Palmerston North Airport, Wellington International Airport and Inter-Island ferry connections. Daily rail services link Wellington with Wairarapa towns.Preferred Requirements:
  • FRANZCOG or equivalent specialist qualification
  • A minimum of two years Specialist obstetrics and gynaecology practice experience, with confidence in colposcopy and obstetric ultrasound scanning.
  • Eligibility for Vocational Registration with the New Zealand Medical Council,
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills, essential for working within a diverse, multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to lifelong learning and professional development within the field of obstetrics and gynaecology.

Remuneration and Employee BenefitsIf offered a position, you can expect the following remuneration and benefits:
  • salary paid in accordance with national pay scales for senior medical officers (NZ$ 190,000 -270,000 pa), basic 40 hour week
