Higgins Hamilton have secured an exciting new contract - the Waikato District Council northern road maintenance and renewals contract. Due to this, our team is growing, and we are seeking Road Maintenance Labourers to join the Green Team now.Based in Rangiriri, this contract covers a network of approximately1200km of sealed & unsealed roads in North Waikato from Huntly to Pōkeno. You will be involved in the general maintenance, repair works, annual programmed works, pre-seal repairs and additional works on this comprehensive roading network.What You Need:
  • Full Class 1 & 2 Driver's license required
  • WTR (Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers) endorsement a bonus
  • Previous experience in road maintenance is preferred
  • Must be available to work on an on-call roster
  • Able to reach the job site within 30 minutes for any call-outs
  • Experience with incident response is a plus
  • Familiarity with RAMM is beneficial
  • Reliable, honest, and a good team player
