The clinical trial environment is a dynamic and stimulating field of work. This is your opportunity to work at the forefront of innovative healthcare, contributing to clinical trials that shape the future of medicine and patient care.Our Research Nurses main role is to co-ordinate clinical research activities from the feasibility stage of a trial to close out, inclusive of administrative and nursing tasks.We are looking for an experienced NZ Registered Nurse to work as a Research Nurse to join the team. Previous clinical trial and oncology/haematology nursing experience would be an advantage. However, full training will be given. The position is part time (32 hours per week) with some flexibility.About the Team/Service/ LocationThe Bay of Plenty Clinical Trials Unit works in close partnership with clinicians across Health New Zealand Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty, research sponsors, pharmaceutical monitors, and patients to deliver safe, high-quality trial care. Current NZNC registration and Annual Practicing Certificate.
Significant and broad clinical experience, as trials can range across a variety of therapeutic areas.
Patient focused and can communicate complex information to participants.
Ability to prioritise workloads, multi-task, and think critically.
Strong IT and administrative skills with attention to detail.
Team focused with a high standard of interpersonal skills.
