About the roleWe’re looking for two (2) Senior Underwriters to join our Commercial underwriting team in Auckland. Your role would be to drive new and existing business across our Liability, Property and Motor lines.This role will see responsibility for:Contribute to all allocated Sales Targets and KPI’sUnderwrite and negotiate renewals and new business in line with delegated authorities within company guidelinesDeveloping and delivering Key Broker Account plansDevelopment and maintenance of broker relationships including visitations to client offices which may include presentations on underwriting appetite and understanding DUAL platformsRegular travel plans to get into your regionCoordinate Whole-of-Account opportunities, working closely with internal stakeholders to convert these opportunitiesEnsuring excellent service standards are maintainedAnswering broker enquiriesWorking effectively with the team to accomplish agreed underwriting goalsAbout youWe're looking for a self-starter with great communication and organisational skills and with at least five (5) years underwriting experience across a range of product lines (Liability, Property and Motor experience preferred).You’ll also have a demonstrated knowledge of industries and businesses that allow you to provide quality service to your clients, as well as strong market knowledge and risk assessment capabilities.You enjoy working in a close-knit team and highly collaborative environment, have the ability to make decisions, a drive to grow business through team success and a hunger for personal development.How to ApplyAre you the right fit for this role and the DUAL Team?
