Provide antenatal, intrapartum and post-natal education.
Comply with BFHI Initiatives.
Provide the course/s in a manner that empowers women in their preparation for childbirth and parenting. Inclusive of encouraging support persons and whanau in how they can support the birthing person.
This is a permanent part time position, working 16 hours per fortnight (0.2 FTE). The region has approximately 500 births per annum.About youThe Pregnancy and Parenting Educator will have the following qualifications and skills
Registered Midwife in New Zealand or a qualified Childbirth Educator
Driver's Licence (Class B car).
Completion or be working towards a recognised qualification in adult teaching / childbirth education .
Provide antenatal, intrapartum and post-natal education.
Comply with BFHI Initiatives.
Provide the course/s in a manner that empowers people in their preparation for childbirth and parenting.
