We're looking for an experienced and reliable STMS (Class A/B Practicing) to join a hardworking team in Hamilton.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise temporary traffic management (TTM) worksites on Category A/B roads
- Ensure all activities comply with health and safety legislation
- Manage traffic flow and maintain site safety
- Supervise TTM crews and conduct pre-start meetings and inductions
- Complete accurate site records and documentation
- Identify hazards and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies
- Make operational decisions, including postponing work if necessary for safety
- Current STMS Qualification with Category A and B practicing.
- Full, clean New Zealand Class 2 Driver's Licence
- Proven experience in the traffic industry
- Experience mentoring and supervising crews
- A strong focus on safety - for yourself, your team, and the public
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Honest, reliable, and adaptable to changing site conditions
