We are currently seeking a dedicated Sales and Service Manager to join our experienced and passionate Palmerston North Management team!What's great about a Sales and Service Manager role at Farmers is the potential to move throughout the store over your time in the role to gain exposure and experience to a wide range of retail offerings. As part of a small team of Department Managers reporting through to our Assistant Store Manager you will enjoy the benefits of a wider support network both in store and regionally.As the Sales and Service Manager you will:

Drive department sales and take full ownership for the teams sales performance
Manage, coach, develop and motivate team to exceed sales budgets
Liaise with VM to ensure all visual elements (banners, windows, hot spots) are in place, on time before store opening
Drive a customer service culture across departments by ensuring high levels of customer service
Implement & communicate promotional plans for upcoming events

What we are looking for in our ideal candidate:

2+ years' experience in a similar position (Store Manager small store or Department Manager medium to large store)
Strong sales coaching competence - proven ability in coaching for sales improvement
Exceptional customer focus
Excellent team management experience - can motivate and coach a team to improve sales results

The is a permanent full time role and will involve weekend work and flexibility for early starts and late nights as part of the management roster.If you are up to the challenge of being a hands on Department Manager who knows how to lead and motivate your team, build a positive culture, control stock flow, manage reserves and daily merchandising and assist with loss prevention, then we are keen to speak with you.Entitlement to work in New Zealand
