They have a national team of around 130 people involved with many of New Zealand's iconic projects.This company's Technical Director (Geotechnical Engineering) is based in the Hamilton office and is well known to the Director of Ground Recruitment as they previously worked in the same company for five years. He will be the contact for this position.To be put forward to the client for the position of Senior Geotechnical Engineer in Wellington, you will need to show that you have had previous local work experience (8+ years) with foundation design, ground improvement, retaining structures and slope stability assessment.You will have experience preparing/reviewing proposals for field investigations, design advice or construction support. You should be comfortable writing tech memos and factual and interpretative reports with minimum review changes and be relaxed working with more junior staff to help them develop.
