We are seeking a flexible and reliable Kitchen Hand to join our friendly kitchen team in Sudima Christchurch City Hotel.This is a casual and part time role paying $25 per hour.Responsibilities | Nga haepapa

Wash and clean utensils and dishes, and make sure they are stored appropriately

Handle, sort, store and distribute food items
Wash, peel, chop, cut and cook foodstuffs, and help prepare salads and desserts
Sort and dispose of rubbish and recycling
Organise laundering of kitchen linen
Clean food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas.
Follow and enforce strict health and hygiene standards
Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation
Display the company values of We Care, We Do the right Thing and We Work Together in all that you do

RequirementsAbout you | Ko koe teneiWe are seeking a new team member with a great attitude, in addition to that , the following skills will see you succeed in this role.

Enjoy practical work
Good hand-eye coordination
Able to work quickly and safely with minimal supervision
Good personal hygiene
Free from skin allergies to foods and detergents
Able to lift heavy pots etc
Good communication skills
Able to work under pressure
Able to work as part of a team
