We are thrilled to offer a rewarding position for a seasoned Supervisor to become part of our Transmission team stationed in Auckland. We seek a qualified and enthusiastic Project Supervisor to join our Operations team and help oversee a major civil and electrical construction project. You'll provide technical support and oversee the successful delivery, ensuring safety, quality, on-time completion, and budget adherence. Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll prioritize safety, assist with work plans, and ensure thorough completion of relevant field paperwork.Being the Project Supervisor, you will also be responsible for:
- Manage and review job requirements, leading a project team, including subcontractors, to ensure proper delegation of tasks based on staff capabilities
- Support in planning, scoping, and pricing jobs accurately, identifying environmental and other influencing factors for effective project execution
- Provide guidance and technical expertise to drive team performance, ensuring staff receives necessary training and development
- Collaborate with management to plan and agree on work/job objectives
- Support the team hands-on with on-site tools and equipment as required.What's in it for you?

You will be a Project Supervisor with Distribution or Transmission project experience or an experienced foreperson looking to advance, you should bring a track record of building successful teams. Your ability to organize and manage workloads, ensuring positive outcomes without compromising health and safety, is crucial.Additionally, possessing the following would be beneficial:
- Knowledge and experience in LV, HV and EHV Distribution/Transmission
- National Certificate Electricity Supply (NCES) - Distribution Level 4 or Live Work Level 5
- National Certificate of Electrical Engineering Level 4 or equivalent
- Knowledge of relevant Codes of Practice, Policies, Standards, Work Procedures, Legislative requirements and the relevant Parts of the Safety Manual - Electricity Industry (SE-MI)
- Current Workplace Competency (WTC)'s as required by the role.
- Full clean Class 1 driver's licence
- Critical thinking and contemplative skills with the ability to solve problems and make decisions.
- Experience with Civil Construction
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to solve problems and make decisions.
- Ability to motivate and influence others while demonstrating integrity and trust.About us
