We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in Dunedin, Otago as an Apprentice Groundsperson. This exciting opportunity will give you hands-on experience in the maintenance and care of sports fields, learning from experienced professionals in the industry.In this role, you will assist in maintaining sports fields, including cricket wickets, turf care, and general grounds upkeep. You'll have the opportunity to learn and apply best practices in groundskeeping, irrigation systems, and machinery operation. Additionally, you will support the preparation and maintenance of facilities for domestic, community, and international sporting events. Working alongside a skilled team, you’ll help maintain a variety of sporting facilities, including turf and athletics groundsAbout you:

What you need to succeed:
  • Operating turf equipment and mowing equipment
  • Understands and adheres to Health & Safety guidelines and best practice
  • Enjoys working outside in all weathers
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Keen to learn a Turf management qualification
  • Current and clean drivers licence.
