- Development of new and renovation of existing products and processes to deliver NPD, cost saving, ESG and quality improvement projects.This includes activities such as feasibility assessments, prototype development, costing, supervision of factory trials, recipe and label development, sensory testing, technical approval, shelf life assessment and technical support for initial factory production.
- Provides technical leadership to drive project completion and adherence to business process in partnership with Marketing and other functions.
- Drive growth and cost-saving opportunities for relevant business categories using commercial acumen and specific category knowledge.
- Provide technical support to Manufacturing, and Procurement
- Provide technical guidance and input to QRMP and other business quality programs.
- Tertiary qualifications in Food Technology or Food Sciences
- Previous experience in NPD in the Food industry
- Computer skills and proficiency using Microsoft Office suite
- Understanding of FSANZ Food Standards code and food labelling requirements
- Understanding of interactions between ingredients, additives, recipes, processes and packaging types
