Covering a broad range of corporate tax issues our team works with some of the biggest and best clients to deliver outstanding tax advice and exceed our client's expectations and partner with their business to grow.We are currently seeking an enthusiastic tax specialist at Manager or Associate Director level to join our Te Whanganui-a-Tara/Wellington based team. Being part of the largest specialist tax practice in Wellington, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a diverse team that continues to grow.Your typical day will include:· Acting as a role model and recognising others for the impact they make.· Applying knowledge and skills of relevant practices and processes (or relevant tax rules and regulations) in areas of specialisation to client problems.· Building on knowledge of technology/methodologies to complete client projects effectively.· Proactively keeping abreast of legislative changes and ensuring they are reflective in planning and client conversations.· Building strong relationships with your clients· Developing high-performing people and teams through providing challenging and meaningful opportunities.· Influencing clients, teams, and individuals positively, leading by example and establishing confident relationships with senior people.· Aligning people to objectives and setting priorities and direction.Enough about us, let's talk about you. You are someone with:· Minimum of 5+ years' New Zealand corporate tax consulting and compliance experience· Current or recent experience in a Big 4/ mid tier professional services environment· High degree of technical tax knowledge (including ideally some transaction services or tax accounting experience, however all other tax specialisations also considered)· Proven ability to building strong relationships with clients & colleagues· Excellent team player, and proven organisational and communication skills· An energetic and proactive attitude· Results focused & client oriented. A drive to develop people and grow their career.
