- Advise and liaise with Network and Contracting General Managers to establish, monitor and achieve team safety objectives
- Day to day coordination and development of the Public Safety Management System
- Attend operations and project meetings providing support and guidance on technical safety matters
- Manage all network risks, ensuring effective and compliant controls are in place and monitored
- Provide technical guidance and training on the application and use of all network risk controls
- Lead the development of approved practices and procedures for working safely on our network including LV permitting
- Manage the release of all Network related Safety Alerts
- Undertake process and safety audits, while reviewing all network related inspection and audit results to identify recurring risks and required remedial actions
- Keep the business informed of pending changes to electrical safety regulations or rules and initiatives underway in the industry
- Support the Group Safety & Risk Manager with the development of the annual Group H&S Plan and work programme
- Assist with providing network input for weekly and monthly H&S Reporting
- Very methodical when conducting analyses
- Excels in extracting the critical information from raw data
