Are you a NZ Registered Electrician looking for an exciting new challenge? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and experienced electrician to join our busy Rangiora team. We are also open to this position being an Electrical Service Technician and would be keen to hear from you if you are a NZ Registered Electrical Service Technician.In the role of Service Electrician, you'll be responsible for servicing our customers' pivot, hard and soft hose irrigators, pumps, and irrigation across the North Canterbury area.About the Role:
  • Inspect electrical systems and components for hazards and defects.
  • Diagnose issues using test equipment and hand tools.
  • Repair and service domestic pumps, irrigation pumps, and irrigators.
  • Ensure all electrical work meets industry standards.
  • Suggest ideas to improve system efficiencies.
  • Assist Operations with the electrical commissioning our customers' pivot, pumps and irrigation systems.
We're looking for someone who is:
  • A NZ Registered Electrician who has a knack for mechanical work.
  • Experienced in motor control. And if you have experience with a range of irrigators this would be a bonus!
  • Positive and motivated with a can-do attitude, who is eager to tackle varied and challenging tasks.
  • Willing to learn new skills on the job.
