- Strategic decision making to identify the investments that deliver or enable their desired outcomes, including project feasibility assessment and prioritisation
- Preparation of business cases for projects and programmes using establish methodologies
- Project and service procurement planning, design and implementation
- The provision of commercial, financial and transaction advisory services
- Infrastructure management and asset management advisory services
- Programme design and implementation
- Navigating the unknown when working on often complex issues and an ability to interpret and understand the key drivers of issues.
- Communicating complex problems and solutions in a simple and concise way for stakeholders.
- Major infrastructure projects and programmes, and how they can enable broader outcomes.
- The drivers of government investment and decision making, including business case processes.
- Working in multi-disciplinary and fast-paced environments.
- Financial or quantitative analysis/modelling (not essential).
- Delivering to project timetables.
- Building strong relationships using your well-developed interpersonal skills.
- A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. commerce, law, engineering, public policy, accounting and finance, or other quantitative degree demonstrating strong numeracy and written communication).
