Join our passionate and multidisciplinary team that offers advice rooted in practical expertise across the infrastructure lifecycle, including financing, planning, procurement, delivery and operation.Help us to work with government and private sector clients to tackle the multiple challenges facing New Zealand todayJob DescriptionThe impact you'll make:As part of this expert team, you will impact all of New Zealand by closing the gap between the infrastructure we have and what we need to be a prosperous, inclusive and sustainable country. You will support Government and private sector clients to navigate all stages of the infrastructure lifecycle. Cross sector collaboration and the opportunity to work with a wide range of SMEs across the business are key features of this opportunity.Your typical day may include:
  • Strategic decision making to identify the investments that deliver or enable their desired outcomes, including project feasibility assessment and prioritisation
  • Preparation of business cases for projects and programmes using establish methodologies
  • Project and service procurement planning, design and implementation
  • The provision of commercial, financial and transaction advisory services
  • Infrastructure management and asset management advisory services
  • Programme design and implementation
QualificationsYour expertise:Bring your experience of infrastructure operations or project delivery, procurement, and business case development, in either a consulting or other advisory environment and see what impact you can make. You'll also be experienced in:
  • Navigating the unknown when working on often complex issues and an ability to interpret and understand the key drivers of issues.
  • Communicating complex problems and solutions in a simple and concise way for stakeholders.
  • Major infrastructure projects and programmes, and how they can enable broader outcomes.
  • The drivers of government investment and decision making, including business case processes.
  • Working in multi-disciplinary and fast-paced environments.
  • Financial or quantitative analysis/modelling (not essential).
  • Delivering to project timetables.
  • Building strong relationships using your well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. commerce, law, engineering, public policy, accounting and finance, or other quantitative degree demonstrating strong numeracy and written communication).
