Psychiatry Registrars x55.0 Fixed Term, Immediate start until 26 January 2025Te Whatu Ora Lakes provides healthcare to a population of 112,000 people from its two general hospitals in Rotorua and Taupō, a top tourist area of New Zealand. At Te Whatu Ora Lakes you will be able to broaden your experience, reinforce and grow your skills.The position is based at Rotorua and may work from any of the community sites including Taupō (if required).Mental Health & Addiction Services includes:
- Whare Whakaue Inpatient Unit
- Te Ngako Community Mental Health & Addictions
- South Lakes Community Mental Health & Addictions
- Mental Health Services for Older Persons (MHSOP)
- Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (iCAMHS)
- Consultation-Liaison Service
- Mental Health TriageWe are interested in hearing from RMO’s that are eligible for, already hold a registration with Medical Council New Zealand.You must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand and be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You can check your eligibility for registration by visiting the Council's website atCandidates who are not currently registered with the New Zealand Medical Council should be aware that it is a requirement of the NZ Medical Council that your qualifications are approved through EPIC. If you have a commitment to working in New Zealand it is highly recommended that you start this process as soon as possible to allow your subsequent registration to be undertaken in a timely fashion.
