We're looking for a strategic and hands-on Records and Information Manager to lead the way in embedding best-practice information and record management across our organisation. This newly created role is central to ensuring our information is clear, consistent, compliant-and ultimately, trusted.You'll work across teams to champion a culture of good recordkeeping, lead governance groups, and ensure our systems and processes support smart decision-making and legal obligations.In this role, you'll:
  • Lead the implementation of our information management strategy
  • Champion a positive information culture and promote good recordkeeping habits
  • Oversee stewardship of key platforms like SharePoint Online and our Knowledge Library
  • Manage the lifecycle of digital and physical records, including compliance with the Public Records Act
  • Provide expert advice and training to teams across the business
  • Collaborate on emerging technologies and their impact on information governance
  • Support audits and risk mitigation related to information management
About You | Ko wai koeYou're someone who sees the bigger picture but doesn't shy away from the details. You're confident engaging with people at all levels, and you know how to make the complex feel simple. You're passionate about good information practices and understand their role in building trust and enabling smart decisions.You'll bring:
  • Experience in records and information management, including classification and retention
  • Strong digital literacy, especially with SharePoint Online and M365 tools
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation like the Public Records Act and Privacy Act
  • Excellent communication skills-you can tailor your message to suit your audience
  • A proactive, organised approach-you're comfortable juggling strategy and operations
  • A relevant qualification (e.g. in Information Management, Librarianship, or Archives) is desirable but not essential
