Not only are they up to date with the latest technology in the industries they work across but they have implemented cloud and PowerBi systems to get the best insights into the business as possible. Positions like this don't come along in Wanaka very often!We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to oversee the finance functions and ensure the financial security and literacy of the business. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be a key part of the leadership team, responsible for accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and governance.You'll bring both technical expertise and a commercial mindset - ensuring financial processes run smoothly day-to-day, while also providing insight and foresight that supports Solis's growth and performance while leading a small team. This is a full-time permanent position.Key Responsibilities
  • Own the accuracy of financial reporting to the board, accountants, and bank.
  • Oversee cashflow forecasting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Prepare accurate monthly and annual accounts, budgets, and board reports.
  • Maintain department budgets and ensure visibility across the business.
  • Ensure compliance with banking, audit, and reporting requirements.
  • Manage FX cover, cashflow reporting, and financial risk.
  • Maintain financial systems (MYOB, PBI, financial models) and ensure data accuracy.
  • Oversee legal and contractual documents including HR, leases, and customer terms.
  • Mentor and develop the Accounts Assistant
About You
To thrive in this role, you will be a collaborative and clear communicator, detail-focused, and solutions-driven finance professional. You'll enjoy taking ownership, meeting deadlines, and working closely with colleagues across sales, operations, and leadership.You will bring:
  • CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent) with proven finance management experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate numbers into actionable insights.
  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, cashflow forecasting, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Leadership experience with direct reports
  • A proactive, "hands-on" approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
