In this full time, 40 hours per week position your primary responsibility will be to provide quality assurance and administrative services to the Environmental Services Group, ensuring the data required to perform consenting and licencing functions across the group is done within statutory timeframes and customer expectations is of a high standard. Without compromising the core function of data input and workflow management, there is an expectation that this role will evolve to focussing more on data analysis as the digital transformation of paper-based systems gets more advanced.Do you have what it takes? This is a busy role and if you like variety in your day-to-day environment, this role has it from supporting the Quality Assurance Manager in maintaining quality management systems for the group, reporting on Business Plan and other corporate requirements, maintaining the electronic property database by creating new land parcels, properties and associations to liaising with QVNZ and LINZ to ensure accurate property information is held by the Council.Updating and formatting all documents to ensure consistency in accordance with the STDC Style Guide ie. audits, templates, procedures and QMS, invoicing for consents and licences across the group's statutory responsibilities and liaising where required with the District Court and Council's solicitors relating to dog infringement notices, parking notices and other prosecution matters are also requirements.About You. You will be a specialist in some areas but have general knowledge and capability to perform similar tasks and functions outside of your speciality when required. You will be an ‘out of the box' thinker with the ability to problem-solve, be innovative and identify areas of improvement and development. A positive attitude, an emphasis on quality customer service, a willingness to work in a busy team environment and a reasonable ability with written and oral communication skills is also required.Applicants for this position must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand, therefore must have NZ residency or hold a valid NZ work visa.
