We are proud to create value from natural resources and be a key contributor to the circular bioeconomy facilitating the move from fossil-based materials toward renewable and recyclable alternatives, and more sustainable consumption.Opportunity:We are seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join us in early 2025 to work through a structured two year development program at our Kinleith Mill. The program is customized specifically to focus on the pulp and paper industry and the operational needs of our mills. It develops the technical, teamwork and management skills needed for our graduate engineers to grow and continually hone their craft, and ultimately progress to become our leaders of the future. If you are a problem-solver, motivated by the opportunity to work in a large-scale manufacturing environment, where every day is challenging, different and exciting, we want to hear from you!What experience awaits you:Working alongside a team of experienced engineers in either our Engineering or Maintenance team, you will be involved in a wide variety of plant improvement or maintenance projects from concept through to commissioning. You will be responsible for scoping the problem, designing a solution, preparing a budget, ordering components, engaging contractors to complete the works and commission the project.You will have the following attributes:

A minimum tertiary qualification of a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)
Demonstrate good work ethic and time management skills
Ability to be innovative with an eye for detail
Ability to communicate with all levels of the company
Capable of working within a diverse cross functional team
Positive attitude
Eligible to work in NZ.

The Kinleith Mill is located approximately 8kms south of Tokoroa, in the Central North Island, an outdoor person's paradise. The Mill is short distance Tokoroa, an easy commute from Rotorua or Taupo and a little further afield is Cambridge and Hamilton.Benefits:
