- Collaborate with the Generation Development team, providing delivery expertise and managing handover of advanced-stage developments
- Establish clear scope, time, and cost baselines
- Support the procurement and management of main contracts
- Support business case and Final Investment Decision (FID) processes
- Develop and implement comprehensive project management plans
- Monitor and report on project performance against baselines, while proactively managing risks and issues
- Ensure safety, quality and environmental compliance during construction
- Build and manage strong stakeholder relationships with landowners, councils, iwi, and community groups
- Manage operational readiness and asset handover, including all post-construction close-out activities.
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Construction, or a related field (PMP or similar certification is an advantage)
- 5+ years' project management experience, ideally on the owner's side delivering large scale infrastructure or utility-scale energy projects
- Commercial acumen, with good understanding of business cases, contracts, and commercial drivers for projects
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels
- The drive to deliver, and the resilience to navigate complexity and competing priorities
- Experience in utility-scale BESS, solar PV, grid connections, and/or the New Zealand electricity industry will give you a distinct advantage.
