Ko tōu ake mahi - What you'll doWe're seeking a dedicated Advisor to support the Ministry's Historic Abuse Resolution Service. This role offers the chance to contribute to important work that upholds justice and compassion, while developing your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
  • Manage and process historic abuse claims with care and professionalism.
  • Provide high-quality administrative and advisory support to ensure smooth and efficient case handling.
  • Liaise with claimants and stakeholders, ensuring respectful and clear communication.
  • Maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement of systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with the Crown Response Office and other agencies to enhance service delivery
Ko ngā pūkenga ōu - What you'll bring
  • Proven organisational skills with the ability to think ahead, use initiative, establish priorities, and meet deadlines whilst preserving high levels of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Previous experience in applying critical thinking and using sound judgement to develop options and provide advice
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to tailor complex messages to a range of audiences
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster good stakeholder relationships.
