We are seeking a qualified General Practitioner to provide clinical leadership and advice to the Te Whatu Ora, Te Tai Tokerau hospital and specialist services on activities spanning the hospital/ primary care interface with specific emphasis on equity; quality, best practice and protecting consumer interests.Here is an excellent opportunity to bring your creativity and innovation whilst working autonomously on new projects. There are growing opportunities to work within a regional operating model.This GP Liaison Officer role encompasses the following major functions/ key result areas:
  • Engagement and interface with Primary Care
  • (Participate in) Clinical Governance (in Te Tai Tokerau)
  • Participate in service redesign projects and initiatives
  • Supporting the development, maintenance, and socialisation of Clinical Pathways
As the successful candidate you will ideally bring a primary care sector background as well as experience and knowledge of clinical quality; best practice, consumer roles and equitable practice.
