- Considerable experience working with Boards in a large public sector/Crown Entity or corporate secretarial function
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Law, Commerce, or a related field, and/or substantial governance experience.
- Experience leading and building high performing teams.
- High level of interpersonal, relationship building and networking skills.
- Ability to clearly articulate issues, seek appropriate support, and effectively influence stakeholders to achieve solutions through collaborative efforts.
- Strong written and verbal communication and drafting abilities.
- Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and effective project and process management with a focus on prioritisation and delivery.
- Excellent knowledge of the corporate governance landscape.
- A commitment to professionalism, integrity, objectivity and collegiality, and the ability to work on a wide range of legal, governance and regulatory matters.
- Flexible, resilient and willing to work on a broad range of matters.
- Experience working in complex environment with a proven ability to exercise judgement in crisis situations.
