- Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS in accordance with regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP)
- Conduct audits, inspections, and testing to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement
- Lead and support internal and external audits, including preparation, execution, and corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across product development, engineering, and manufacturing to integrate quality throughout the lifecycle
- Oversee CAPA and risk management processes, ensuring timely resolution and preventive measures
- Analyse quality metrics, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and implement improvements
- Provide training, guidance, and support to colleagues to build quality awareness and capability
- Maintain accurate, comprehensive quality documentation and reporting
- Act as a point of contact for regulatory bodies and maintain strong engagement with compliance requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., biology, biotechnology, engineering) or business discipline (e.g., business administration)
- Substantial experience in quality management within biotech, agriculture, medical devices, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries
- Strong experience with QMS and regulatory frameworks such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or GMP
- Familiarity with risk management tools (e.g., FMEA, hazard analysis) and validation of equipment, processes, or software
- Proven track record implementing quality systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage diverse teams
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile, startup-style environment, balancing structured quality practices with adaptability
