This position provides a unique blend of autonomy, job satisfaction, and dedicated team support.In this role, you will engage with school-age children, their families, and whānau within the community, addressing a diverse range of health and social issues. An advantageous understanding of the challenges facing children is essential. Additionally, the position involves supporting the School-based Immunisation Team, making knowledge of immunisations and possession of an Authorised Vaccinator Certificate highly beneficial.We are offering a permanent part-time position with upto 0.9 FTE (36 hours per week) we are flexible with FTE, if you would like to work a 0.7 or 0.8 please let us know in your cover letter.   • Able to be autonomous and self-directed.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of child and family health including vulnerable children.
  • Passionate about working with children.
  • Registered Nurse with two or more years' experience with a current APC.
  • Current driver's licence.
  • Authorised Vaccinator Certificate an advantage.
