This is a unique opportunity to lead from day one, build your own team, and shape the culture and care standards in a state-of-the-art environment.Job DescriptionWe’re on the lookout for an inspirational and experienced Care Centre Manager to lead this exciting new chapter. You’ll play a critical role in establishing a high-performing team of Nurses and Caregivers, and ensure we continue to deliver the exceptional care we’re known for.This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm, with some occasional on-call responsibilities that include weekends and nights.What you’ll be doing:Reporting to the Village Manager, you’ll be responsible for the care centre’s daily operations and strategic leadership, including:
  • Full accountability for staffing, budgeting, and compliance
  • Leading and coaching your team with a strong focus on recruitment, development, and recognition
  • Building meaningful relationships with residents, their families, and stakeholders – and being their trusted point of contact, especially in sensitive situations
  • Supporting sound clinical decision-making and ensuring quality care at all times
  • Managing audits, policy implementation, and working with NASC, Te Whatu Ora and other key external agencies

You’ll be an experienced manager with solid aged care experience in New Zealand, ready for a new challenge, you’ll be passionate about leading people, driving quality outcomes, and making a real difference.You’re someone who leads with empathy, builds trust, and can bring out the best in others.
